I am a designer, photographer, farmer, and yoga teacher. I strive to be joyful, creative and invested in the health of my community, both on and off the mat. I also bake a kick-ass pie.
I shoot for both publications and private clients (primarily food and photo-journalistic portraiture) in conjunction with the work I do for them on paper and online. Thanks to lots of hours working both behind a camera and on magazine production and pre-press, I’m a pretty handy photo editor, and a borderline supernatural attention to detail in combination with my cowboy style [read: non-traditional] means I can spot a great shot and nail it on the fly. Don’t think. Just shoot.Let's see it →
Print and packaging design make up the bulk of my work, and those projects are often complemented by my photography (to your left) and copy-writing (to your right) skills. I am fascinated by and well-versed in many aspects (and many mediums) of publishing. I can help with your freelance editorial, advertising, promotional or personal design needs. Outside the digital universe, I sometimes play with pencil and chalk. Life is short. Make things beautiful. I can help.Show me →
Write & Edit
If you’re seeking a feature writer, columnist or contributing editor with a flair for crafting creative non-fiction, you’ve found your girl. An award-winning journalist and formerly a national magazine editor, I can take a story from concept to press proofs with style and precision. I’m well-practiced in building relationships with other creative folks to support, encourage, assist and inspire, and a handy fluency in Canadian Press style doesn’t hurt either.Tell me a story →
